Over the course of time, it has become glaringly apparent that the music played on RAGBRAI (beer gardens, Budweiser Bus, mobile Miller Station, stereo on the back of Team Blaster, and the fucking Diego bus to name a few) is unimaginative, watered-down, corporate crap. You can only hear the same song fifty-eight times in one week before Lizzy Borden thoughts creep in you subconscious. By the way, there is wonderful song by The Chad Mitchell Trio called "Lizzy Borden." The desperation that this faux-music caused in Rick led to the creation of the first TeaMartini Tunes CD in 2001. With input from his team, a collection was created that was well received. Because of that love, and the eardrums that were saved, the series will continue as long as the team does.
